International Escort Agency: “Aphrodite Companions” BUSTED by Law Enforcement

Recently as of last week, police arrested escort agency owner, Melissa Lombardo and her partner-in-crime husband Vincent Lombardo at their home in Long Island, NY. After a long two year investigation with the agency, the couple have been charged with prostitution and money laundering.

Just to give you a little background of the agency: “Pam” (Melissa Lombardo) was known as the madam and claimed to have experience in the industry for over 10 years while operating it out of her home in Long Island. She was successful and smart in what she catered to, but what became the downfall?

Well for starters she would rewards clients who left stellar reviews of her agency on TheEroticReview (TER). She also had several bookings overseas and collected the fees in ways which would go under the radar once they came back to the US. For that she got caught in money laundering, but for how she got proved that she was running an illicit escort agency was through her extremely explicit reviews on TER.

I’ll quote exactly what was filed in the NYPD complaint report below. It is scary to know that police will read these supposedly ‘exclusive’ and secretive ‘VIP’ reports thoroughly to use them against the defendant.

10.Aphrodite furthers its prostitution activities through its relationship with an internet-based review website called ‘The Erotic Review,’ which is also known as ‘TER,’ located at http://www.theeroticreview.com, in which johns can read and post reviews of experiences with different prostitutes…Aphrodite itself is also reviewed on the TER website. On Aphrodite’s own website, prostitutes frequently list their TER Number and provide a hyperlink that allows an Aphrodite website user to jump to the TER website simply by clicking on the link with a computer mouse.

11. …Additionally, Aphrodite has developed a relationship with a content administrator within the TER community. In exchange for free sex with Aphrodite prostitutes, this individual posts inflated positive reviews of certain prostitutes and negative reviews of prostitutes who are no longer associated with Aphrodite, but instead with competing agencies.

Where do I even start?

It has been a long held belief that review site’s were considered “safe” from law enforcement because they require a fee for their VIP membership which would then show all the “juicy details” as TER calls it. Unfortunately, TER clearly doesn’t care about the discrepancy of their subscribers because they will offer membership for intimate details to anyone who pays, including vice police.

These explicit review sites violate the privacy and safety of not only providers, but clients themselves. If a client posts a review about a provider on a review site (not only limited to TER), the website servers will forever have their information collected and kept in the website database.

Don’t believe me?

Well in majority of cases were a girl is busted, police will also want to find the client and charge him too. It’s not that hard to find your IP address and personal account information when you post on a national forum that requires payment information. Even with a handle/username or fake payment information, what is put out on the internet stays forever and can be traced back.

It has also been said that in order to avoid getting the sites shut down or in trouble, review sites will cooperate with police for information. They only care with what benefits them.

Clearly from this case you can now asses that several reviews on these sites are fake and/or exaggerate! If only one administrator from a nationally acclaimed site (TER) was sleeping with Aphrodite for hyped reviews, imagine how many administrators are doing the same thing. That’s not very honest, now is it? Considering you are highly paying for reviews…

This is just a case study to prove as to why I DON’T allow reviews. I care about the safety and security of the wonderful gentlemen I who see me everyday, much more than the glorification of reviews for my own marketing purposes. If I am honest with my services, I know that will show through in my appointments and there will be no need to be ‘verified’ through reviews. Review sites really only cater to hobbyists (I have nothing against this necessarily) who have a biased view of their supposed experience with the lady. Several of these reviews put false expectations of what is really offered which puts everyone at risk. I advise to always be skeptical of reviews, most of which are fake, harbor hidden agendas or unreasonable expectations. Just remember, in the end sites such as TER tell us more about the client than the provider.
